Most people know this but are confused about just what kind of exercise they should be doing. This is because all of the people selling diet and exercise programs have made this far more complicated than it needs to be. They have people convinced that there is only one way to exercise and that if they do it wrong they will not get results. This is just not true; any kind of exercise that gets you up and moving and raises your heart rate will help you to have a healthy lifestyle.
The other key to a healthy lifestyle is a proper diet; again this is made far more complicated than it needs to be. The key here is that you want to have a diet that is well balanced; in fact an equal amount of protein, fat and carbohydrates is a perfectly acceptable diet. Most people will go to great lengths to avoid fat; in reality this is not necessary. The real key is to make sure that you are consuming no more calories than the amount that you burn. As long as you do this your diet will be fine.
